Plan the space

Measure the doorway before ordering the toran

Decor is planned to a doorway or a table, and length is the figure that makes or breaks it.

  1. Garland length is per strand. A five-foot marigold garland is one strand, and a doorway usually needs two.
  2. Banners are rolled, not folded. Hang one a day before the event and the remaining fold lines drop out on their own.
  3. Outdoor use is stated or it is not claimed. Printed polyester fades and tears in sustained sun and rain.
  4. Order ahead of the festival week. The courier network is at its slowest in the fortnight before a major festival.
